A Little About Haley Marie
Learning how to break the rules—in her own meticulous way—is the passion Haley Marie has found herself caught up in since she was a child. The little girl refusing classical piano lessons became the girl roaming the halls of the Yale University School of Music feeling like an outsider…and she became the performer who is obsessed with telling audiences things no one else will about the day-to-day lives of musical masterminds: personal turmoil, quirky relationships, bizarre habits, emotional struggles, tumultuous friendships and inspiration from the most unexpected places.
Countless hours spent pouring over projections, storytelling and music to create a series of live musical documentaries entitled The Men Behind the Music. Analyzing everything from Bach to the Beatles, spending early mornings and late nights accompanied by cups of black coffee, figuring out what was going on in the most ordinary moments of artists’ lives that drove them to become extraordinary.
A classical flutist with three Carnegie Hall performances under her belt. A pop pianist from Day 1 of her musical studies. A storyteller who takes audiences behind the scenes to answer one question: What could’ve inspired these artists so much that they were driven to write music that seems to have made them immortal?
“Ticket to Ride”, “We Can Work It Out”, "Something" and “Blackbird”.
Haley Marie believes that—because of his personality and compulsive behaviour—Mozart would not be able to sit through a two-hour concert of his own music. (He was never expected to do so during his life!)

Haley Marie loved rock and pop, and also loved to watch wrestling with her big brother. Later on, she would also come to love music when she found out that the music came from places that were just as interesting.
